  • In accordance with the VAT Law and associated circulars and directives, prepare VAT return certification reports; issue, check and finalize VAT return lists; provide consultancy to companies and employees regarding these matters; deliver employee trainings; conduct legislation research; and ensure a comfortable and motivated working environment to facilitate business processes.

 Professional Background:

  • Has extensive experience in taxation and Value Added Tax returns at Specialty Tax Authorities.
  • Has worked as Assistant Manager and Manager at the Istanbul Tax Authority VAT Group Directorate, specializing in VAT returns, responses to private ruling requests, admission to and removal from exceptional procedures, and resolving VAT Return Reports.
  • Also appointed as Team Leader to the VAT Return Tracking Query project initiated by the Istanbul Tax Authority VAT Group Directorate to enable tax incumbents to track the status of their VAT return requests online on the Tax Authority website.
